Testosteron enanthate beundras av professionella idrottare, särskilt styrkeidrottare och professionella tyngdlyftare och kroppsbyggare, eftersom det hjälper till att förbättra nivåerna av muskeldefinition, proteinsyntes, and nitrogen retention besides being free from side effects, unless abused or of a low grade. The steroid is also used as part of testosterone replacement therapy to treat hypogonadal males (males with low testosterone) or stimulate puberty in carefully selected males with clearly delayed puberty. It may also be used secondarily in women with advancing inoperable metastatic (skeletal) mammary cancer and who are 1 to 5 years postmenopausal.

Testosterone enanthate has an active life of nearly 14-15 days and could be detected within a period of two to three months. This testosterone derivative has an anabolic/androgenic ratio of 100:100, which indicates that it is as anabolic as androgenic.

The anabolic steroid is commonly used for a cycle of 6-8 weeks and the recommended dose is 300-2000 mg per week for men. The testosterone derivative is not recommended for girls and women, unless its usage is approved by a medical practitioner.

Testosterone enanthate is commonly stacked with Anavar, Clenbuterol, Dianabol, Bra Durabolin, Primobolan, and Equipoise. It is available in different forms like pills, capsules, injections, and syrups. Since use of testosterone derivatives has been associated with formation of excess estrogens, ready supply of antiestrogens such as Clomid and Nolvadex is highly recommended, especially for those who have a history of excess estrogen formation (occurrence of acne, gynecomastia, and oily skin with use of anabolic steroids).
